Don't let the blog title or article title put you off, this article on Borderline Personality, famous people's experience with it, and psychotherapy left me with a good feeling. I think it's pretty deep and food for thought.

Thanks for sharing that article. It is really interesting. I have heard speculation before about Marsha Linehan having BPD, but never heard her perspective on it. I think of myself as a wounded healer too.

I've been reading your blogs and articles you've linked to; I've been working with a therapist who incorporates the schema therapy you previously mentioned to me; all this is helpful. Thanks ((( Rapunzel ))) I'm glad you enjoyed this article.

Wow, thank you so much for this, this is amazing.

This part I liked especially:

"To me, it sounds like Linehan had what existential psychoanalyst Rollo May referred to as the "I am" experience. It is an experience of one's self, one's being, one's existence as inextricably and umbilically rooted in the cosmos, in Being, and in the daimonic. It is a rediscovery and reclamation of one's authentic self."
Thanks for this!

Yes, that was one of my favorite parts of the article!
