I apologize for the short notice. I should have posted this a few days ago. I'm still hoping it will work out, however. I was thinking a good time for our next chat would be tomorrow (Saturday) at the following times: 4p.m. Pacific time, 5p.m. Mountain, 6p.m. Central, 7p.m. Eastern, 8p.m. Atlantic. I know this makes it pretty late for our UK people, but from this time, it is about 8a.m. in Australia, and I was hoping to include some of our Aussies. If you do not live in one of the time zones listed and are not sure, do a slight amount of research on-line and determine what time it would be for you. I hope this is okay with everyone. Once again, life is unpredictable and I'm not sure I can make it, but I will do my best.
For those of you who did not attend the last one, there will be a room set up in chat. Go to the lobby and left click on the door on the left hand side to find the room. Our chat occured on time today. Unfortunately, I guess I didn't give enough notice since the turnout was pretty low. That's okay. Let's try for the next time next week. I can't promise to make it but I'll try. Times are as follows: 4p.m. Pacific, 5p.m. Mountain, 6p.m. Central, 7p.m. Eastern, and 8p.m. UK and Aussie friends, please check the times, but for UK it's like 1-2 a.m. and Aussie it's about 8. Let's hope for a better turn out. Also, there's no reason at all why we can't start doing impromptu chats. If you notice someone's on you want to talk to, simply just send them a p.m. and meet them in a chat room. Keep in mind that sometimes the system "lies" and says someone is on when they're not, but it's also a possibility. Have a good week everyone, and thanks so much for the extra support this past week. Hi there I'm so glad i looked in today, I'm in Aus (Sydney time) and i've been so confused by the time zones i did use the time converter but was none the wiser because i didn't know which US zone to convert, i'm really happy now i know when to log on, THANKS HEAPS for the heads-up.
Could some-one please tell me (if you can?) what time over here i can log into the DBT Skills Chat on the wekends?

Last week, I sat down with LizzieVale to figure out what time she would need to come to the chat; she lives in Adelaide. We determined that she was 15 1/2 hours ahead of me and I am in U.S. Mountain Time, so that would place her at 8:30a.m. the next day for the chat. Most people in the U.S. including PC use eastern time which is 2 hours ahead of me, so that would make it 13 1/2 hours. The DBT meeting is at 1:00p.m. on Saturdays, eastern time. That would make it 2:30a.m. Adelaide time. I don't know how many time zones Australia has, but find out if you're in the same time zone as Adelaide or how far you're off. If shouldn't be more than an hour or two difference and that part should be easy to figure out. Unless you're a night owl, that DBT class is going to be difficult to attend. I hope that helped. I'd be willing to help more...we could get on chat briefly the next time we're both on maybe, and figure it out.

Hey im trying, its nice to see a fellow Aussie in here. I'm for Adelaide in South Australia. Sydney is about half an hour ahead of Adelaide so that would mean that you would need to arrive by around 8.00 am Sunday for the weekly chats. Looking forward to meeting up with you xxx

I was basing it on my time instead of U.S. Eastern time. I think it would actually be at 11p.m....so that's not quite so bad. I am working from 2-6p.m. U.S. mountain time, and the chat starts at 5. I work on the computer so I'll probably be able to pop in and say hi, but I won't be able to actively participate at least at the beginning. If the chat goes for over an hour (it has so far), I'll be able to get involved once I get off. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm glad it went well for you. It is a little fast with several people talking at once.
