Figured since I can't really offer anything to you all, since I'm emotionally exhausted, I'd just ask a basic non-emotional question. What's the proper way to explain what the crap is wrong with me to people? That, and what books should I buy? I work next to a Barnes and Noble, so I was going to check it out, tomorrow. I know there a dozen or so and from you all, I'd probably get the best reccomendations. For myself and something to give to others.
"What the Hell is wrong with you?" "Read this." Just want to know how to tell this to people with spazzing out into an emotional nightmare. |

I would tell people on a need to know basis only. It's not most people's business, not that they'll "get it" anyway. The book New Hope for People with Borderline Personality Disorder by Neil Bockiam is very good but it's geared more towards the sufferer. It explains very well WHY we feel the way we do and is pretty much on the mark...not that that helps in changing it.

Sometimes I tell people that I have a sensitive constitution, but that's only on a need to know basis and also if they seem genuinely interested and not just picking at me.

I was more talking about my friends. The three or four of those that I actually have left.
