Lately I have been seriously self harming last night I tried cutting and I didn't break any skin I was mad that I couldn't make myself bleed.

The day before I ripped out all my eyelashes out...

and the day before that I cut all my hair down below in bikini area and farther to stubble in some parts.

I feel so numb and out of control that I seriously want to self harm even more further maybe even close to suicide...

I wish it would stop
I wish I was normal
I wish I didn't have these urges.

I'm glad you want to stop the self-harm. I suggest you tell your doc/therapist you are doing it. There are techniques that can be used to help deal with it.......

Also, you might ask folks in the self-harm forum what has helped them get it under control.

You need to put a trigger icon on your post. I'm sorry, but I can't help right now....

A trigger icon is the red button with the x. It lets people know that you're going to say something that they may find upsetting and set them off. There's a lot of people sensitive to threads regarding self-harm and suicide and it lets them know ahead of time so they can avoid the thread if necessary.

The only way I can stop is through Wellbutrin for awhile--the same drug used for addiction therapy. It worked. Has worked twice for me. Ask a pdoc about it.

((((hugs))))

Have you tried squeezing ice at all or using the elastic band?
Thanks for this!

I've never really had a problem with self-harm (not to say that I've never cut but I can count on both hands the number of times. My T counts when I purge but...eh) but squeezing ice works really well to calm me down when my emotions are really raw or when I'm basically hysterical.
Thanks for this!
