I feel like I'm not engaged in life.. I have no interests, nothing to talk about, no one to talk to, no places to be. I have nothing.

I understand that. I feel empty a lot. I also feel like nothing is ever happening.

I am sorry you are so down.

I often feel empty and like I am nothing personally. A bit different than your description below.

If you need or want to talk, PM me.

I feel the same way much of the time. I have people to talk to and sometimes I have places to be, but I feel like I don't have much to talk about and no real interests. I'm not very interesting. I wanted to sign up for online dating, but I don't really know what to put on my profile since I don't do anything. I used to be very involved and interesting and now...nothing. So yeah, totally know where you're coming from. Wish I knew what to tell you or what to say to make it better but I don't... just wanted to share a little camaraderie.

I get on facebook and there's a few people that I'm acquainted with and they're always doing something... whether it's going to see live music, playing music themselves, doing activism and talking about politics- because they care about things, going to art events.... y'know their livin' and having a good time.. I don't do any of these things and what's worse is I don't even care/have the motivation to really engage myself in some sort of interest/hobby. I just don't understand how everything can come so easily for some people.. always having something to do and something interesting to say, why can't that be me?

Thanks for your comments/support, I really appreciate it! I'd PM you guys if I had anything to say other than complaints.

You should just make a profile, mine was very "no frills" and I was very honest with who I was and people seemed to appreciate it.

Do you like to listen to music? That's one of the few things I do and it passes time.

I used to be into music but haven't been listening to it much for a while.. I think I'm bitter because I used to go to a lot of shows & parties & have dated musicians and never fit in anywhere so now I just don't listen to music anymore, either that or I'm too lazy to find new bands to get into/download things. Man, I'm so grumpy.

Your first post says you´re very empty of interests. Your profile shows someone with lots of interests. If you happen to like a language I know, I can give you tips.

Eh, I've made plenty of profiles. It's not my first time at the rodeo. I'm just not ready to get back on the bull yet. Been thrown too many times. (Meaning I've not ever gotten past any of the first dates. How lame am I?)

Don't feel bad, I didn't make it through half a date once.. the guy ended it abruptly and just dropped me off at my car lol. He was kind of a douchey man-child though so it was perfectly fine with me.

Ugh, the worst. I can usually spot those guys through email so I don't engage in conversation with them but still...sorry about that half-date. That had to suck. Interesting story though.
