Just venting. It's storming here. I have 2 hours left of work and I hope the storms pass by then but if not I'm gonna get wet beyond imagination walking for about 30+ min in it. On the good side is I had the wherewithall to bring both my hoodies even though it's been about 70 degrees, so I have some cover.

I know I'll be fine but it's gonna kinda suck walking... my feet are just now starting to dry from walking this morning

Sounds like me last winter. I needed new shoes, and whenever I went out I'd start squishing as I walked because they got wet inside. It wasn't as uncomfortable as you'd think though.

YUP. My feet were squishin' this morning. I hate it... cus my socks have been wet half the day at work and that gets annoying.

Snow would be ok. Even though almost as wet, it's a somewhat pleasant thing, quiet snow falling vs. constant dripping on your head and body

Ive been pushing a double stroller the past few years so snow makes it harder than heck to get around, and rain just keeps me soaking wet while the kids stay dry under the rain cover.
I like the rain because then i dont feel guilty about not doing yard work.
(but wet socks get stinky.. they even FEEL stinky after a little while, hehe)
