Hi group,

I have become really attached to a new friend of mine, and am having feelings of attraction to her. I mentioned "her" in my first post. Anyway, I had texted her earlier today, and haven't heard a response. I am now afraid that she doesn't like me. I am afraid that I've done something wrong. I'm afraid that she is creeped out by me. I am afraid that she is avoiding me. I am crying because it hurts me deeply. I don't know what to do, but I want to stop feeling pain.

Thanks.
Hugs from:

Do you have any support or someone to talk to?

I know what it's like feeling distressed or even paranoid when you don't get a response from someone. A lot of times our thoughts are not very realistic, yet we still choose to believe the worst.

When I feel like nothing can make me feel better or take my mind off of something bothersome, I at least take comfort in knowing that it will pass.
