WIthin the past hour or so... I realized that I have BPD... three red flags for lack of better terms popped into my head.

1.) Sensitivity
2.) Paranoid Thoughts
3.) Identity Issues

For the past 2+ years... I've been very obsessive about my health... I also attend a support group for Asperger's Syndrome... I'm certain I have that... I'm obsessed with MBTI and figuring out what type people I know are... I consider myself an expert with reading people's emotional state and MBTI personality types.

Anyway... I live in a very messed up houshold... I'm certain my brother has Bipolar I... father has DPD... and mother has OCPD... my life is a huge mess right now... I'm trying to get my GED... I passed every section on the GED without studying except for Social Studies... I guessed on it and barley failed it.

A lot of adults and well-respected people think of me as someone with gifted intelligence... I seem to excel at understanding complex subjects that an average person would struggle with.

Anyway, that's all I have to say and any comments are welcome... I want to figure out how to move on with my life... it's hard living my life the way I'm living it now.

I'm pretty stable with my emotions at face value but not my deepest ones.

tatoogirl said it so it must be so.

Seriously, though I'd question any bpd diagnosis without some sort of emotional instability.

Is it possible that I just show the symptoms of BPD because of being around people who probably have it? When I was a younger... I was a black and white thinker... in 2011... I started having mental break downs a lot... since 2011... I've gained a lot more control over my mind... I know I have Asperger's Syndrome and OCD... but It's hard to tell if I have BPD or not... not paying $2,000 to find out to get a no... that's for sure.

Unfortunately, none of us here can diagnose you.
We can give suggestions, but we can't tell you whether or not you have BPD.

It may be helpful to look at a list of symptoms though and just see what you fit and what you do not fit. You need to have five of the nine symptoms that last over a period of months to have a diagnosis.
Thanks for this!

No one here can really diagnose you. I will say this. You have to exhibit I think 5 or more of the traits to be DX'd BPD. Check out the symptoms and see if it warrants a visit to the Pdoc. IN any case dont' diagnose yourself, get a doctor to analyze you
