So this is pretty much my nightly routine:

brush my teeth and have a shower.
Go to bed expecting a good night sleep.
Close my eyes for at least half an hour.
Don't feel any sleepier.
Get annoyed because I can't sleep.
Roll around a few times (doesn't help)
Get angry, maybe punch my pillow a few times, maybe kick my quilt a lot.
Eventually fall asleep 58295 hours (that's exagerating, but it feels like that ) after going to bed.
Wake up in the morning.

NO DREAMS. it's just like, one minute it's dark outside, next minute it's morning. I miss dreaming. :/

My best dreaming happens when I get 8 hours of sleep every day, or more. If I can get 10 hours of good sleep the last couple hours are all spent dreaming. It gets to be really easy to recognize that I am dreaming, while still in the dream. It is an ability I want to learn to do better, called lucid dreaming. When it happens I like to practice flying.

So it only happens a couple of times per year.

I've lucid dreamed a couple times, in the first one I flew and had sex! lol It was really difficult keeping myself asleep once I was aware that I was dreaming and people were suspicious of me. The second one I flew out a window and straight up into the air, I was in this very vivid world and the sky was really pretty.. it looked like a colorful version of the milky way, it was really overwhelming and flying was scary, I had a hard time controlling it and thought I was going to fly into space and wound up waking up.

I sometimes have a hard time sleeping too, it's very frustrating!

Do you think about your dreams when you first wake up? I can't remember mine unless I think about them right when I wake up and usually forget about them later.
