At work today, one of my customers was talking about a white board that is set up at his office. Employees conjure up random questions of the day just for the hell of it. He said the weirdest one was "Would you play Russian Roulette for a hundred million dollars?" One out of six chance you end up blowing your brains out, right?

My immediate response (I was the one who answered first) without hesitation was a confident "yes."

It shocked everyone. Everyone else said never in a million years. They all looked at me like I should have my arms and legs strapped down. They asked me why. I said "well, if I got the unlucky bullet, it's not like I'd have anything to worry about anymore. If I survived, I would be set for life."

Is it morose or odd that it takes me longer to figure out what I want to order from a restaurant than it is to answer that question?

Hmmm for a hundred million dollars I may also do the same. I just asked my husband the same question and straight away he said yes and he doesn't have any MI!

If it actually came to it though....I dunno lol

It certainly sounds appealing to me, but I'm not sure I'd admit it to anyone else.

I would happily go for it as well ~ although I know that isn't the "healthy answer".

I have a hard time ordering at restaurants too. No, you're not morbid to take a 1 in 6 chance do die and a 5 in 6 chance to be set for life financially. If you can live (no pun intended) with those odds, that's your choice. It took me a while (again, less time it takes for me to order - at a really good restaurant) to decide I'm not willing to chance the odds. No amount of money is worth it to me.
