Thanks for the hugs

I keep kind of going through phases, being annoyed then ok, then just kind of numb. Over and over. I don't believe that its still over this, I dunno. *sigh*

So I just read this. It takes a lot of getting my head round tbh. I realised though that a therapist when I was inpatient tried something like this. She was trying to get me to answer questions and I just wouldn't. So she told me to ask the part that was stopping me to let me answer her questions. I remember just shutting down more though and refusing to cooperate. It just seemed stupid to me that I'd have to ask some part of me for permission to talk! Aren't I after all just one person with one brain?

But after reading this it makes sense. I just don't get what my 'protectors' would be protecting me from. There were no traumas. No abuse or anything like that.

I don't know. I think last night it was every half hour or so? I just ended up getting really tense and wanting to do something to release it... I didn't but it was close.

Today its just a constant low so far. Was so tempting to stay in bed this morning, but dragged myself out of bed with 10mins before I had to leave for work!!

Oh yeah I know these feelings! I usually end up doing drug of choice when feeling like that and needing a release! But I am clean for 2 weeks I think it is now! Yesterday was a bit touch and go but got passed the urge and everytime I resist is a victory which I am proud of

Aw I so hope the day gets better for you! Mornings aren't my favourite time of day (apart from today) but find it gets better as the day goes on sometimes so hope it's the same for you!
