For those with BPD, what was your childhood experience like (please be somewhat in detail to certain situations, so we may be able to relate, i.e. if abused, be more specific on abuse...was it verbal, physical..etc...or even more detail if you are ok opening up about)

For those without BPD, but knows someone personally well with BPD, please describe what their childhood experience was like?

The main purpose of this thread is for people like me whom would like to understand and relate with other peoples past childhood experiences in better understanding why some of us with BPD are the way we are and/or think the way we do.

WARNING: People should not relate in an extreme way that may make them feel that what another person has gone through is also the SAME EXACT experience. We are all predisposed to reacting naturally in certain ways before we even knew how to think.

Please be kind to one another and do not include remarks or comments that undermine another's feelings or thoughts. If we are here, it's for a reason to better understand and improve ourselves from our mental obstacles.

Thank you.

And yes, I'm new and have BPD. I will surely write up my life story as best as possible.
