Today I am back at my T's office and I really hope there are no fire alarms again! My appointment is at 1 and before that I need to go vote for our new mayor.

It was fire alarm free

One thing that my T said that was interesting is that they have now found that BPD is partly biological. They have found a neuron path that is common among those with BPD. Although it is still true that many people with BPD have had a traumatic childhood. If BPD is partially biological that makes me feel a bit better. I talk to my son about how his brain thinks different then mine with his Aspergers, my brain thinks differently due to BPD.

She told me that the doctor who came up with DBT has BPD herself! She gets us, she is one of us!

Also I have lucked out and found that my therapist teaches DBT and has a lot of experience with BPD. I am blessed that the two people I am working with are such experts when it comes to BPD.

I'm so glad it went well for you, sounds really promising!!

Thats interesting it could be biological. My diagnosis is in question atm anyway but it did bother me that I've never had any trauma and that seemed like such a main part of this disorder.
