With me being unable to work and therefore our family losing almost 50% of our income we had to do something about our debt. Today we got the go ahead to do what is similar to a loan consolidation but it is done through the courts. At the end of 4 years we will be debt-free except for our mortgage. This is a huge relief as last Friday we were told we were not eligible. I had to go searching for paperwork but now everything is set up. I hate debt so I am hoping that this will take away some of my stress.

That's great :-) I love having a "plan".. Sounds like your planning will pay off in 4 years.

Believe me I know. I find it very hard to believe I have an 8 year old. I swear I just brought him home from the NICU...

It will be so nice to be out of debt.
