The good news is, I found a therapist who specializes in trauma/PD's. He uses DBT and a few other approaches. I'll be seeing him on December 11. He's roughly 24 miles away from me, but he takes my insurance and seems legit.
The bad news is, holidays are really hard for me. Not sure why, but I always feel more depressed and am more likely to have meltdowns around this time of year. I hope everyone is having happy holidays, it's been a few days since I've been on here due to feeling so tired all the time. but never fear, I'm not going anywhere. ![]() |

Glad you found a T. Mine is 40 miles away. 24 is not too bad. I know the holidays are tough for a lot of people including me. Stick close to PC and we will all help each other get through.

I'm alone for the holidays too and unfortunately off work so unless I go to a bar there's nothing going on where I live. This only makes me so much worse. Hang on and talk it out. Holidays bring a break from routine and that's what pushes us down.
