The worst for me is when I feel I'm being overlooked or my feelings don't matter. Then I just want to be violent. Same thing, not a violent person, but that rage is hard to overcome.

I made some cookies for the gifts I am giving a few friends, and according to 2 authorities I make very good cookies.

I'm somewhat smart.

I made a dish to pass and a dessert for my b/f's work Christmas party. This is typical of me, but ... he and I have been at arguing extremes for two days. He didn't remind me of this party (originally told me two weeks ago) I wasn't even sure I remembered the right day. Took a stab at it, went to the grocery store, made it all last night while he was at work. He was very pleased to come home to see that I remembered and did it anyway; he even thanked me above and beyond the usual. I told him that meant a lot to me. On top of it all, the dish I made .... even I had to rant and rave about lol. I FEEL GOOD 'bout that.

I'm liking all the positivity here

I completed my degree! It has taken SO much work and been such a struggle, so I am very proud of myself.

I have a happy, healthy little boy who thinks I am the best mommy in the world.

My son told me yesterday that I was the "perfect" mother for him. My heart melted.

Yup. Mine did when Robbie said something similar. I also melt when he says "I love you mommy". Being a mom is hard but worth it.

Do you ever try to imagine life without them? It just seems so hollow. I don't know what I'd do without him.

Right now I try to figure out where my little preemie went to. How can Robbie be 8 already? I remember how excited I was to finally be pregnant and feeling that this time I am going to have a baby. Life would certainly be different and not in a good way if I did not have Robbie. We are looking to adopt so that he can be a big brother.
