I just wanted to share this with some people who might realize how much it means to me.

I have a boyfriend of 6 months. He has very little experience with mental health issues, yet, he has been so wonderful. I, as many of you probably understand, am not an easy person to deal with. I am irrational, and moody, and I push and pull and say things I don't mean. I was officially diagnosed with BPD a few days ago, and I told him I understood if it was too much. He told me a diagnosis changed nothing, that he loved me, and that I was still the same person just with a different label.

Tonight, he went to the store to pick something up, and he came home with a dozen roses... all different colors... just because. He said he hadn't bought me flowers in too long.

I'm so glad that I have this man in my life. I only hope that with the new therapy I can find a way to not push him away like I have everybody else.

I guess there's a good book for NONs called "stop walking on eggshells." It might be a good book for him to get. I don't have it myself, but I plan on purchasing it.

My husband has this book out of the library and seems to think it is a good book. I have not read it.

Facing Demons: The roses are beautiful and very thoughtful, he's a keeper.

I'm a little jealous lol. Mainly just happy you've got such positivity in your life.

That is beautiful; the roses, and especially the reason . . .the unconditional love he has for you.
