Firstly Can I just express the relief of a diagnosis that fits all over!
Than to read all the posts in the "you know you're borderline when" thread,
I was and still am amazed at how many others share the same emotions and
Reactions as I do. Incredible.

SecondlyI've also been saddened to read so many articles on divorcing
A bpd spouse. Things like "escape before too much damage is done". As if we are all destined to be terrible husbands, wife's, mothers and fathers, LUDICROUS!
I'm thankful my husband and I have a very stable marriage.
8 years together and 6 years of marriage at 26, while raising four kid.
Apparently that's statistically rare.

LastlyI'd like to say hello to my fellow sufferer's. I too know
Your pain and its good to know I'm not the only one blocking my
Husband's exit during a figh or only leaving the house to check the mailbox.
It's a hell only we can truly grasp....and then feel guilty as hell about it

Welcome to the group. My husband was bothered by all the "divorce now" stuff he found, we have been together 13 years.

Welcome to PC. I was also amensly relieved when I was diagnosed in 2011.
The divorce rate in the United States is around 50%, BPD or no. So I wouldn't put too much stock into literature that is designed to be inflamitory.
Recovery through DBT is also completely possible. I only did part of a DBT program and it is responsible for the few good coping skills I do have as an adult.
You're not alone.
