Thanks for asking and yes I did get the job last Friday.

I have done a week at a new place as the Senior Manager, been consulting for a few years now. Thing is the week went very well; so well in fact that the Govs want me to apply for the substantive job. I really want to do this, it's my sort of place and I like it.

Trouble is that I thnk that someone will delve back into my past and uncover some gossip or troubles from when I didn't know what was me. Who would want to keep me on at work then?

I'm starting week two of Lamotrigine now 50mg and having a real low today. Do I put on the application form that I'm Borderline? That I have a Mental Health Problem? Or just that I'm INTJ ( Myres Briggs) and a grumpy old sod????

Feeling pissed off today and need a friend.

I am not sure what the laws are there but here I would not put my mental health status on a job application/resume. It is none of their business. After I am hired if there is a form for statistical purposes I put that I have a disability (mental health issues is considered a disability here) but not what it is.

Don't stigmatize yourself, believe in yourself.

Maybe an apt quote for emotional struggle as well :" If there's magic in boxing, it's the magic of fighting battles beyond endurance, beyond cracked ribs, ruptured kidneys and detached retinas. It's the magic of risking everything for a dream that nobody sees but you." -Million Dollar Baby

Thank you both for your time.

I am feeling very sorry for myself at the moment. Just too things in answer to my rant and to mention to you.

Private information about me has in the past been given to a third party which resulted in my losing a contract. The rule of law doesn't seem to work here unless you have money to fight. Justice is for the rich in England.

I am fighting, I fight every day of my life with this daemon. I believe strongly that " either you eat the bear or the bear eats you". I guess I'm just in need of a little rest now and my life to become easier.

It is and should be but you need cash to get any solicitor to start action. Thanks for the message.
