Ive been dxd with it. By a Dr at a hospital. Yes, I have traits but my therapist who knows me and sees me often and for longer than that Dr did doesn't see the bigger traits in me. Mostly...I just have si, past trauma and such. I also am bipolar 1 and have anxiety.

Is it bad that it bothers me to have this dx? Its not that I look down on it AT ALL....I just don't want another dx if I don't really have it!

I can understand where you're coming from. I don't see you as looking down on it at all, I understand the feeling enough is enough!

Reading the series to my 8 year old son. We took him to the Harry Potter exhibit, cool to see stuff from the movies wish we were allowed to take pictures.

I think it's a good sign if you are resistant to a diagnosis. Don't lay back and let people label you or diagnose you without getting to know you. If you do have BPD, it's not the end of the world. Well it feels like it sometimes, but you know what I mean.
Thanks for this!
