This diagnosis has never sat quite right with me. And now I have the second opinion I wanted. Not BPD. Nowhere near enough traits according to this pdoc I saw today. He just didn't get why I had been diagnosed it in the first place! It's kind of a relief tbh. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against BPD or anything like that, i just knew it wasn't me!

I am glad you finally got your answer! You always did have the feeling it didn't fit! So what are they saying? Are they giving it a name at all?

He just thinks it's a recurrent depression. That makes more sense to me. He kinda pondered bipolar but I just don't get the highs to go with it!

Having gone through a wrong diagnosis recently with my son I can understand your frustration. Hopefully now they can get you the correct treatment to help you.
