I've seen a lot of posts in different forums asking for BPD music - or music about BPD.

I've made a playlist of all of the songs people mentioned in addition to a few of my own.

Check it out here.

Am I missing any? Please feel free to either add them using Spotify or mention them here & I'll add them to the playlist.

'Stay' by Rihanna and Micky Ebb is my BPD song. It is basically about holding on to something that may not be good and to me illustrates the impulsive and emotionally exhausting relationships that we people with BPD sometimes have.

Here are some I thought of (from my playlist)

Creep by Radiohead
Hurt by NIN (see you have the Johnny Cash version on your list) :-)
Everyday Day is a Exactly The Same by NIN (pretty much anything by NIN seem to fit BPD lol)
Breath Me by Sia
Butterfly with Bullet Wings & Zero by the Smashing Pumpkins
I Hate Everything About you by Three Days Grace
Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day

Just some that I could think of

There are some songs by Supertramp I really relate to. Especially asylum, hide in your shell, casual conversations, and you win-I lose.

I wrote my own instrumental music to listen to as nothing was really cutting it or hitting my BPD where it needs to be hit.

Fantastic idea! I have had three for years. One you have..... Green Day, but what about Ghosts by Japan and High Hopes by Pink Floyd.

To add to the Pink Floyd list: Lost For Words and Wearing the Inside Out.

And personally I relate far too well to the entirety of the "The Wall" film.

/Pink Floyd fangirlism lol

Hi there,

Can't beat a bit of Floyd! The individual chaps have produced some good stuff too Dave has Murder on his album. What about some Black Sabbath though? There are some good BPD tracks on the new album.

Snuff by splipknot I really like, not their usual stuff. Also Pittsburgh by Amity Alfiction. So in dept and perfect for how BPD plays itself in my mind.
