I constantly feel alone, empty, sad, and completely alone in the world. I don't know how to talk to the people I love about this or my therapist. I feel like I'm falling apart. I can't focus or sleep or eat. I can't stand it and I hate feeling this way but I don't know how to help myself.

kali is right ~ you aren't alone, MANY of us feel this way.
Sometimes, writing about it helps a little (especially when supportive responses are read), for a minute or two anyway. And that's how it goes. We just keep trying to remind ourselves as often as we can that we are wrong. we aren't alone. Others are like us and they understand, because they feel the same way that we, ourselves, feel. That is special. Especially when we feel such intense emotions followed by nothingness. As though we're in an empty jar in the middle of nowhere, vaguely watching the people that we could swear that we love around us. Yeah....we can relate.

Thank you guys for the love. I really need it. I know there are so many others like me who feel like I do. And when I remind myself of that, I don't feel so alone. I write in a journal almost every day and that helps bring some clarity too.
