does DBT or COG work for anyone? should i bother going back to them?

dbt worked really well for me. I used to go from 0-60 in my emotional responses and after taking dbt that went away. I didn't automatically respond to emotional triggering situations anymore.

if cog is referring to cognitive therapy I feel that was very helpful in getting me to rethink things. my thoughts were really inaccurate and I catastrophized a lot which caused me to become overly emotional. when I realized how messed up my thoughts were and how I had the ability to change them it really changed things for me and I was able to manage my emotions much better.
