I play games on the computer, knit, sew, read. It depends on my mood.

I read about BPD...but that depresses me even more...I want to learn more about who I am and understand why I am like I am...and then I start arguing with myself trying to convince myself that I am not psychotic and argumentative and down right uncontrollable. The more I try and understand what makes my brain tick the more crazy I feel. I woke up this morning and felt incredible. As the morning has progressed, I am in a whirlwind of emotions for no apparent reasons. And I too sit at home, no job with nothing to do.

Have you considered setting some goals? It's difficult for those of us with BPD traits, but it's still important. My current goal is to finish a college degree.
Thanks for this!

Mine too. I'm 2 years away from getting my degree

It does help. I've just reached a familiar crisis point where I'm feeling empty, and despairing and it's one of the few things I have to cling onto. It helps that it's entitrely objective and not social or relying on other people. I've started reading so much more since I started my course and this often calms me down and gives me a sense of control missing in my chaotic social life.

Computer, listen to music, clean, exercise...those are my tools to get me through my lone time.
