My psychiatrist didn't tell me when I was supposed to increase my Quetiapine / seroquel dosage, so I have just stayed on the lower dose.

Since taking it I have been experiencing morning sickness, (not pregnant) if I don't eat I am fine but if I eat within the first few hours of waking up, i am really sick.

I don't want this to get worse so am apprehensive about when my medication will increase.

Other than this I have felt no effects

Haven't taken that one sorry... that side effect would not go well with me. My NP is usually pretty clear about dosing, but I well know the feeling of wondering whats going to change when the dose increases.

Hope they are startup effects only GL!

Sorry to hear that, widgets Unfortunately, I haven't taken that med before, so I can't offer much specific advice.

Not sure how it works where you live, but if something like that happens to me with a med, I can just call my psychiatrist and tell him about it and see what he says.

Is it an option to just call the doc (right away) and discuss this ?

If I'm not able to reach my doc and get him to change my meds, I usually read up online about whether or not it's safe to make changes to the dosage myself. For instance, with meds like Lithium (which I take), I can't just stop taking it or make other big changes to the dosage.

Sorry if this didn't help. In any case, hope you feel better.

I used to take it, but I didn't have that problem. I took it at night though. Do you take yours in the morning?

No I take it at night with effexor, which I have been on for nearly 2 years. I don't have my psychiatrists phone number but I am seeing her on the 28th I just thought I would stick it out until then.

I am seeing my psychologist on Thursday just before I go back to work so I will ask her about it and maybe she can speak to my psychiatrist for me.

Effexor cause weight loss and seroquel causes weight gain so I am thinking maybe I am eating where I wouldn't usually and my body isnt adjusting so well because the effexor has been in my system for much longer.

I only agreed to take it if I was started on the lowest dose, and for it to be increased very slowly, i have severe anxiety around taking new medication And especially as I had tried this one before at a much higher dose.

I like to be able to keep a proper check on every single change that is happening, as I always remember losing total control of my life and mind while on prozac, i never want that to happen again
