I told my family doctor i'm considering doing therapy and their reply was "You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't." What the hell does that mean? I understand there is no cure but i thought getting your issues out is suppose to help. It won't be DBT.

Sounds like they have a negative perspective on bpd. Either way, I attend therapy. I think you should! Sometimes my therapist makes me feel happier, even if I only can run with it for a few minutes.
