Hey people recently i was diagnosed bipolar 2 rapid cycling and my pdoc says i have bpd traits and hes got me a cpn to look into bpd but it confuses me.When high or manic i "act out" but when low or depressed i "act in" is what he said to me. What does he mean by this?Does that make sence?

my guess would be that acting out is doing things to get attention, the shopping, sex, relationship drama, anger, and acting in is more sullen and withdrawn......why not ask him
