I live with my family - married to my husband and have 2 kids.
My BPD does affect my inter personal relationships. I am trying to work on this. I am reliant on my husband though. I am currently not in my trained profession; but this is not to do with my BPD it is as a direct result of my BP. I hope this helps. Take care. |

I have a husband but do all the typical "women" work. He does cook. I do consider myself defendant because I have never been able to make enough money to live on my own. If I was financially independent I would never live with another man or anyone else again. Men would just be my play things.

Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors. |
