Hello. I was recently dx with BPD although previously dx as Bipolar.
My boyfriend (fiancee) has been blowing up at me lately. I was just in the hospital for 5 weeks. I'm at one of my most fragile moments in my life, and he keeps blowing up at me. We try to communicate but he says that it's like talking to a wall. I don't know what to do. I don't know if I can even stay and fight the fight until we can see a counselor. I'm just at a loss.

Sorry to hear your fiancé is being so insensitive. Perhaps he could look up borderline personality disorder to see what it's all about. That will give him something to think about while you wait for therapy. Do what you have to do to take care of you. Can you stay with someone a little less abrasive and verbally abusive while you get back on you feet? Best wishes!!!
