How do you stop the trigger but keep the friend? My best friend I would do anything for but she also triggers almost everything for me and when I don't talk or see her I'm fine. I'm trying to work stuff out here cuz I process things by talking and getting feedback and I can't keep making my friend my counselor I already have a counselor but I don't know what to do can I have some of your feedback please thanks

I'm sorry you're in this situation. Do you know what it is about her that triggers things for you? And what do you mean by that - specifically, what feelings or behaviours does seeing her trigger?

I just see everyone else in my life in her that has l left me. Logically I know she won't leave and that I'm just putting all the bad things in my past on her, but emotionally I can't stop myself from thinking about it mindfulness works as long as I don't talk or see her I'm fine but then I lose my best friend that as been my friend got 11 years and not all of them good. So I don't know how to change my head counseling helps some but I only go once a week
