I am all alone and I turn 66 today. I feel really depressed. I have been alone on my BDay for most of my life and after all the hard work I did in therapy it should be different but it is not.

I've had almost all of my birthdays alone, come to think of it. In ways that's a relief. I dont have to pretend that I'm happy or sad, and for the most part I'm happy doing something special for myself.
