It's like I just don't learn. I can't sleep and I simply, blindly PANIC!!!
Like what is going to happen if I can't sleep? I'm retired, in my own home. I can sleep or not whenever I want to. But, no. I head for medication. I'll take two of this and one of that and then in a little while I'll take a few more. Sometimes I sleep and sometimes not. BUT, I always feel dreadful the next day. Depressed and feeling the "S" word. Why do I do it? Why do I panic? I have to stop taking these cocktails every time I can't sleep. But when it happens it's like I'm possessed and not in my right mind. It all scares me. |

I'm not sure why you do it, because everybody has different reasons - but it's not strange or weird Azul brought up a good point: have you found anything besides pills that helps you relax? I have the same problem as well, and unfortunately, I haven't found any one thing that helps. But sometimes just trying in and of itself helps *a little*. I'm sorry I couldn't be much help.

Have you spoken to your doctor about it? Maybe he could suggest something that wouldn't be dangerous but would work in calming you down.

My sleep can be pretty erratic too. It doesn't help much as far as mood goes, well not for me, personally that is. Let's hope that this all works out for us. You deserve to be happy.
