Should I tell the family (papa bear's side) about my MH issues? I suspect they wouldn't understand.... even anxiety . I guess those who haven't been abused and who haven't dealt with feeling Sui and all the crap that comes with that wouldn't get it and it would likely make things worse. Papa bear's mother has passed away. I always felt she didn't like me . I once told her I was feeling anxious. Her reply was "what have you got to feel anxious about"
Am I a "bad person" for hiding things from people who have already hurt me?

Fuzzy you are not a bad person! Everyone has the right to feel loved and respected. If you want to share maybe start with one family member you feel safe with! xoxox

Hi Fuzzy,

First of all I don't think you should not tell them because of shame or embarrassment or any feelings like that, or because they might not understand........if they aren't going to at least try to understand just a little with your help then shame on them.
But I also don't think you should be obligated to tell them either. I'd say it should be completely up to you whether you want to tell them or not. Afterall they haven't "a right or need" to know, right??!! And everyone, family or not family, has a right to keep some things private if they wish to.
If they might be supportive..........great........but otherwise...........
So maybe draw up a list of pro's and con's to help you decide if you actually do want to tell them or not??
And Fuzzy, you are never going to convince those of us on here who know you that you're a "bad person"!!!
