I saw my psychiatrist today and i told him some stuff and he said that some people with BPD experience psychosis. Also my psychologist thinks there is something else going on and my psychiatrist agreed and then asked if it was ok if he talked to my psychologist and i said yes and then after my mum got a call from the psychiatrists office and they asked her to come in to talk to her. i am worried they think i am psychotic i dont think i am but i am worried they will i mean i know i am not exactly normal.....

What are your symptoms? If you are indeed experiencing psychosis you may have an additional diagnosis of bipolar, for instance.

Um well i guess the things i told him were
- i dont think the world is real
- there are other people in my head
- i feel like other people are in control of me
- i hear whispering and it scares me
- i think the doctors at the hospital are evil and want to hurt me
- i thought my family was replaced by doubles
- there is something watching me
- there are demons everywhere
- i cant get my head to stop
- i cant focus
- i cant talk (i wrote the stuff down for him).
And some other stuff but it is long.

I don't have an answer, unfortunately, but it is a good thing the people who have you in therapy/care will talk to each other to find a way to help you.
You could have something else beside BPD, the mind is complicated and different things can go on at the same time.
If they can identify what it is, they will have more information to help you feel better.
Psycosis it is not nice, but it can be treated.

Thank you for at least replying my psychologist is looking at other possibilities as well he said he didn't want to "miss" anything. I was just wondering if anyone on here experienced psychosis as a part of their BPD as my psychiatrist said that that could happen. I don't think I am psychotic anyway but I am worried they will think I am and tell my mum who would tell my dad and that CANNOT happen I think if he thought I was psychotic I would have to leave home.

I had some psycosis episodes. Not officially diagnosed, but what I experienced was really close to what psycosis is.
So I think it can happen, and it can happen in many cases.
Psycosis - for what I recall, I am not a doctor - is not an illness in itself but a symptom.
I would talk with your doctor about your concerns and would be open about your fears regarding your parents.
It is important they know your concerns and you have to feel safe in talking to your doctors so you can get all the help you need.

I too have had some episodes, especially when highly stressed or med changes etc...but like Lene said, normally they will pass on with a bit of time...good to just be honest. I took some meds to help with them for a while off and on...would never attempt to diagnose someone else here. Just keep talking it out with your pdoc and T. And try to relax a bit and accept things as they come for a while. Also, do some basic research so you understand better and can communicate more clearly and advocate for yourself. Gentle hugs if accepted.. wys

I am not exactly sure what you mean but my mum hasn't had the appointment with my psychiatrist yet it is tomorrow and I have not had the appointment with my psychologist yet so I still don't know what they think yet and it is annoying waiting but at the same time I don't know if I want to know.
