The placement agency is pretty pissed off at me as I gave them no notice but my mental health has taken a beating. Due to reduced expenses my husband says I don't have to work. I feel a huge weight lifted off of me.

You have to do what is best for you. Forget those other people. If they can't understand, oh well.

I'm sure they are pissed at you and ideally it would have been nice if you could give notice but in spite of that I applaud you for taking care of you first, that counts for the most.

The placement agency will get over it. You and your family come first.
