So many carelessly misdiagnosed. (and all the cruelty that goes with that )
(so many already dead )
maybe together we can help to change that

here! here! Thanks ((((fuzzy)))).

I'm weary of the stigma and the hate-mongering I've read (I avoid such drivel now) about people with BPD.

Yeah I haven't really told anyone about my informally diagnosed BPD. But with some of the horrible things i have read, which don't seem to fit borderlines at all, like saying we have no empathy, that we destroy lives, that sounds like maybe borderline comorbid with other issues that cause lack of empathy, not the BPD itself. Even from some therapists i've heard some horrible, awful, hateful things. Frankly, sometimes it is enough to make me want a dark small place to go cry in. Hopefully this will change in time, because people shouldn't be labeled as manipulative or void of empathy, because someone has their backyard quackery (as in really uneducated TV psychology) wrong, out some bias based on someone they knew who was either wrongly diagnosed, or comorbid with other disorders.
