What is "normal" anyway? Seems kind of boring to me, then again my life is boring...

I have no idea what normal is! I am definitely not normal, although probably many people who don't really know me would say that I am. I would rather be a little weird than be anyone other than myself!

The normal people are the ones that discriminate against people who are not normal. They keep the jobs we should get, the keep the good stuff that they have so we can not have any.

Hm-m-m-m-m... If I were normal... that would mean that the majority of the world would be like me... now there's a scary thought!

I am not normal. But I am not borderline. Did you mean in that sense? Where perhaps you feel thing differently?

I think I'm fairly normal given the circumstances of my entire life lol. Likely true for most of us.

Normal is a relative term, so it means different things to different people.

I've never been normal, but that was in part to my environment, how I grew up. I'm still trying to figure out what normal is, and I may never be normal. However, that is okay because I'm still a good person and I'm starting to love myself. So, I may not be normal but I'm okay.

Pretty much, best response EV-AR

Add a bear going down a swimming pool slide video and we'd be talking per-feck-shun

Reminded me of Washing Machine album, by Sonic Youth.

A lot of what seems "socially normal" is just plain sick.

Hail to the awkwardness.

This made me cry. Seriously. I'll never forget it and will be proud of this for the rest of my life.

I love to make people laugh (always have.) But for the past 30 years, dealing with the monumental HELL that I experience....it's become so precious to me to play some small part in helping other's to feel a little "better" - even it's only fleetingly. If it's someone that suffers deeply (like me), too.....well, that brings me to my knees.

Going to watch bear in pools videos. I need it now!!!

I've always said that id rather be weird and a little nutty than plain old normal any day, I have character and strength that's been tested in ways normal people rarely are. And I think the same would be true of most people here ^_^
Where judgmental people see flaws and scars, I see things that tried to break us but couldn't. Things few could survive in one piece. People with empathy because they know what unkindness feels like. Be proud of not being "normal"

thank you, this made me cry too (but in a good way)

("BPDers" "devoid of empathy"? No I don't think so )

I don't know how to react to this, but at some point of time I was thinking about how I should "live" like normal people.

makes me think of the "ugly duckling" song

We are, I believe, STRONG.

"Normal" is a figment of some people's imagination.

As Utah Phillips said, we're all normal. But not all of us are average.
