I am hoping that everyone has the best Thanksgiving Day they can have. That may mean being alone (been there, done that) with family and/or with friends.

I hope that everyone can think and speak of one thing they are grateful for this year.

I plan to do all of the above.

I will be spending Thanksgiving alone, but it's because I have to work, but hey I have a job after being unemployed for over a year.

I'll be at my mom's and my two girls are going too. I'm in a really weird frame of mind about spending this holiday at mom's. I haven't spoken to her much in 3 or 4 years. She supported everyone but me growing up...more later on that.

Instead of seeing the day and meal as a big farce, I see my mom...old and lonely...she is who she is. My daughters and I know what she's done and how she's hurt those in the family. She is who she is...

I can have a meal with her and know inside that I love her. She's my mom. I will never trust her or invite her into my life beyond the day to day mundane things...

Was going to spend it at another house but came down with a stomach bug. I guess that means a quiet meal at home.
