My therapist walked me through the DSM yesterday afternoon. Ultimately, she said I have some traits of Borderline Personality Disorder. At least a solid 4 unquestionably. She questioned a few others...so maybe we need time to figure them out? You're suppose to meet 5 out of 9.

She also said because years ago my diagnosis of Bipolar happened so quickly that maybe it isn't bipolar. It could be BPD or just depressive disorder (cause I don't really have patterns or tend to get manic).

But BPD or bipolar or whatever, we are both proud I'm working on myself cause I know what isn't working and has to change. I'm very self-aware and willing to work with myself to become better (hence my name "becoming").

People can change and I'm going to! Positivity for the win Sort of new diagnosis but not really?

It's great that your therapist is working with you and helping you understand your condition. I do wish you the best of luck with your progress.
