I don't think this directly relates to my BPD but I'm curious if anyone else has had similar happen.
Sometimes throughout the day I'll suddenly feel like I'm halucinating, and everything looks very fake, less detailed and almost 2D like what I'm seeing is a photo, and my field of view shortens like that of a phone camera. it happens more often when I am stressed about something and has actually made me feel the need to pull over when it's happened when driving, and can be quite frightening at times when it won't stop. I use to use a lot of halucinagenic drugs a couple years ago so maybe that has to do with it because it doesn't seem to get triggered by any specific things, just overall stress. And I can become very delusional at times from me BPD and have heard voices in my most panicked times, but when this happens, other than my reaction to the odd feeling it has, it hasnt brought on any similar emotions or delusions with it so far. anyone had any similar experiences, it's starting to worry me which really isn't what I need right now, and I'm afraid to tell my friends/family or psych because I'm worried they'll think I'm stupid/making things up or will just brush it off. thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Maybe it could be flashbacks from the drugs. You should tell your doctor.

Hey Matt,
It might be related to the drugs, but it might also be derealization, which is very much linked to BPD. Here is a good description of it: Depersonalization-derealization disorder Symptoms - Mayo Clinic It happens to me when I'm very stressed out.
