Good Afternoon,

I just wanted to hear other's opinions on what I should do.

I recently lost my job, and I have noticed things are happening.

I have not slept in a very long time, days, if not weeks. My room is trashed as I do not have any motivation any more to tidy it. I am becoming reckless and exhibiting behaviour which is unsafe.

For example, last night I disassembled a razor blade and slashed my wrists and my arms. No explanation to why, just because I was curious to how easy it was. I am under Psychiatric care, as well as a mental health nurse. I am taking antipsychotic medications, mood stabilizers, anticonvulsants and antidepressants.

I see my P-doc in two months time, and my Mental health nurse in 10 days. However I feel like I am near my end, and I feel I need someone to tell me what I need to do.

Please don't worry - This isn't a sign of suicide, just a plea for someone to come and give me some advice.

Call your pdoc IMMEDIATELY and ask for an appointment as soon as they can get you in. I hope they can do something that will help. A med change may be in order.

I have been given a combination of Haldol and depakote to reduce my emotions. I will be back once I have a sleep.

Hold off on any major decisions until you've had a few nights of solid rest would be my advice.

I do know what it's like to feel that you're approaching your end. Not a good place to be. x
