Hi!

My intense emotions have affected my body in a negative way for many years. I have pain everywhere, and I clench teeth a lot. Most mornings I wake up with new tension pains here and there and after an emotional crisis I am literally stiff as a board. It hurts so much

I don't really have a diagnosable issue with my body, but I live in constant pain, and I am worried about my teeth clenching (mouth guard hasn't helped much).

Is this common for people with BPD? If yes, anything that has helped?

(Don't suggest massage bcs I can't afford it)

I do notice my muscles (particularly my back) getting very tense and remaining tense for a while after "episodes" and meltdowns.

The other day my back tightened up so badly that I had trouble breathing, and today I feel pretty achey all over.

I think it's definitely a side effect of immense stress, which SUCKS.
