Hi all,

I am diagnosed with Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, and anxiety. I am trying to understand if one of these is more responsible then another for why I do something (or if unrelated).

Answer with yes or no, and if you like - give opinion or details.

DO YOU NARRATE YOURSELF OR HAVE RUNNING COMMENTARY ON YOUR THOUGHTS OR ACTIONS?

Yes

It is an indicator of how poorly I am doing, how aggressive or intruding my self narrator is.

Do you mean a narrator, like speaking about yourself in the third person? Then No, I don't.

I think I tmi'd you. I sent you a more detailed message - but to answer in general here:

No, not third party. Like me, commenting on me, my actions or random thoughts on my own thoughts.

Yes, occasionally. But mostly I just talk to myself. It's like I'm constantly in a meeting...only there's no one else in the room.

I do narrate about myself in first person, usually I have a person in my mind to whom I'm telling things about myself, like talking about what I have done today, my past, emotions, thoughts, etc, usually pretty free-association talk, but a lot of times it's related to that person - it's usually someone I'm attached to, like a romantic interest or therapist.
It's like I'm telling my life story to someone.
