Thank you. Me and my husband have been looking it up online with a broad perspective info. My husband is my reasoning,my lets sit back and talk about the would ifs if you make that choice. We are at a stump n the road and want to strengthen our marriage, and our family. So again thank you.

Hi and welcome to PC!
Are you in therapy? There's a treatment called dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) that is particularly useful with BPD. Your husband can use it too. Here is a website with more information: DBT Self Help |

Hi and welcome! In addition to the suggestions above, I highly recommend you both read The Buddha and the Borderline, which is written by a borderline woman about her experience.
I had to figure out that I was borderline for myself, and the two things that have helped the most are mindfulness (slowing down and being aware of my thoughts) and also questioning my thinking. I used to take everything personally. Now I realize that if someone doesn't say hello, maybe they didn't see me; they were preoccupied; I didn't see/hear them acknowledge me... Someone didn't forget my birthday because they hate me; they just forgot... and so on. Oh, and boundaries. Learning about healthy boundaries is really useful, and Al-Anon literature is great for that. Not all overnight, okay? You are getting started. ![]() |
