post here what self care you've done for yourself today (and every day)

today's list is very short, but:

ordered myself a takeaway

watched a soap opera I liked for half an hour
Hugs from:

Thanks for this!

I’ve been doing some “self analysis” - my brain hasn’t been attacking me so much so far today as to make this impossible

I allowed myself to write all my thoughts down in a document when I got angry and upset over dinner

I put clean clothes on and did the laundry from yesterday

watched some videos on youtube

kept 2 windows open in my bedroom because it was hot and I didn't want to overheat

I allowed myself to cry. I also allowed myself to hear a loved ones contrary opinion and hear her constructive criticism without exploding and I kept reminding myself that she was only talking about a limited amount of my behavior and she was not rejecting me.
I also did grounding aka earthing for a few minutes.

I see your post as a very good idea.

I went with my doggies for a very long walk without earphones, cell phone or any other distraction than them and the landscape.
Thanks for this!

Slept a little later because was woken up at 5 am by a pesky mosquito. >
Had breakfast!
While I had some anxiety and insecure feelings, rather than staying quiet, I reached out to my partner
Took a shower and managed some contacts regarding a possible job.
Had lunch

And now I've gotta get outta here to study...

I'm on a bit of a roll here so excuse me
