This has happened to me a couple of times over the years. Someone says they appreciate me and then the very next day they cut off communication. I haven’t done anything “wrong” ... I have no way of contacting them. I don’t know what disorder this is. Maybe it’s just someone being a jerk I certainly don’t appreciate it one bit. It reminds me of early childhood

Also the maternal unit did not appreciate me. And was disappointed in me. From VERY early on ..

Have people here had others doing this to them?

Puzzled and pissed off

Sounds very selfish of them. Its not right. I would get in someone's face and start a fight if they said or did that to me

I sorry that this happened to you. its not a disorder or anything. friends unfriending the next day is just their making their own choices just like you can decide from day to day who you want to talk to, who you want to be friends with, and in online situations who you want to post to or not. its just a fact of life of being human sometimes people change their minds on who they want to be around and who they dont want to be around. free will and a brain that gives us the ability to decide for ourselves is not so fun sometimes when you end up on the receiving end of someone changing their mind on friendship.

my suggestion consider it their loss and move on to things that gives you pleasure and people that do want your friendship.
