I just caught myself using a skill. "I'm feeling crappy, and that's ok."

I can't stand the world right now, and that's ok. This too shall pass... I suppose.

I sort of wish I used my skills more often

6 months of learning skills in therapy and I don't use them

when I feel bad it should help me but I don't bother

Good for you for using your skills.

I find DBT really helpful. I'm really glad I did a program in it.

I have been in DBT for the past 11 months, and I can say it has truly changed my life. From using meth and other substances almost daily, starvation, self harm, intentional overdoses... And now I am free from most of those things. The one thing I don't think I will every completely recover from is the starvation aspect...

Id like to learn DBT and learn the skills sometime in the future. it is a plan of mine down the line actually.

I'm glad its been helpful for some. I also totally get that its hard As **** to apply learnt skills through therapy at times but i guess its all about training.

I’m feeling crappy and I’m not fine with that.
