What do you do? How do you deal with it? The guilt from eating.

Guilt is a useless emotion, harmful and destructive. Look at food as medicine. If you were ill, or had a certain medical condition that required taking medication, you would do it, right? Well, your body needs a certain amount of this "medicine" (food). So be kind to yourself. be kind to your body. Try not to worry...it'll be alright.

Heyyy!
I know what you mean and really if you delve deeper you will most probably find that you are feeling guilty about other things as well and the food is just something you can focus on while you either don't give yourself the time to process through your feelings or don't think you deserve to feel altogether. So give yourself some credit for recognizing that you have needs and that your body needs fuel and for eating! Maybe try journaling about what you're feeling that's completely unrelated to the food and you might surprise yourself with what comes out. Let me know what you think... Stay strong! |
