Have recently started a nightly practice of telling myself this before I go to sleep: "I love you so much. You are safe. I'm here. I'm an adult and I will protect you (us)." Honestly, didn't think it would do much but it has really helped calm my nervous system before bed.

for fun, I'm writing a story about a boy called jack and his baby sister ellie

jack's going shopping with his mommy, and they are buying things to help with the baby's care.

as an example, jack picks up the baby bottle and asks mom, what does this do?.

then she explains and so on for everything else he picks up in the store.

it's fun
